A Bag for Everything

The Handi Pac by Advanced Freedom

I had spent many a day in class at college where I turned around in my chair and reached around for my school bag. I hoped that my fingers grasped the bag enough to grab whatever item I needed at the time. Most of the time my bag ended up falling to the floor. I ended up driving around campus with my books and tablet behind my back. I didn't want to interrupt class with the thud of my bag against the floor.

This front-facing bag lays on the lap of the wheelchair user. It has huge zippers and velcro so it is easy to open if you don't have good hand coordination. The bag is huge. It can hold groceries, laundry, and it's big enough to hold a laptop. The bag is made of dirt-resistant and durable nylon material.

I also like how big the bag is in the photos. The bag rests on the footplates of the wheelchair user's chair. The bag is out of the way so your arms are available to wheel their chair. You can also secure the bag to the back of the chair if you wanted.

The price of the two bags is USD 210 before shipping. This is expensive on the average college person's budget. The bag would be used regularly. The bag is advertised as durable. The cost would break down to USD 0.57 a day if the bag survived a year.

The order includes two bags (One vertical and one lap bag. )They come in two colors black and red.

The days of grasping for your bag are over. I want to be able to go to the store and not have to worry that the flimsy plastic bag is going to break before I get home. I hope that one day they have more designs available.
